Second piece for my CSSSA app! The prompt for this one was to draw something you’re interested in. Old vintage film and just directing something in general is definitely one of my favorite things; I love that nostalgic appeal of picking up your old camera, grabbing some friends from the cul-de-sac, and filming a movie. There’s something about those timeless moments that’s endlessly engaging and satisfying… no matter what the quality of that monster movie you made truly is. That, and I kind of relate to the “director” of sorts in this picture— seeing impossible things laid out before you, and really wanting your audience to follow you to these impossible things.
